PEC combines the expertise of an established and founder-managed consulting company with the mentality of a start-up. We are a flat organization, treat each other as equals and have an easy-going approach to each other. We value team work and support each other in helping shape the future.
Our success story starts in Stuttgart, where PEC – Project Engineers & Consultants GmbH – was founded in 2008 by Stefan Koch and Ingo Lipa. Since then, the PEC team has steadily grown. Today, we employ a total of more than 200 people in our six offices in Germany and at our US office in Detroit.
A wide variety of projects awaits you – on both a national and an international level. Our partners include global brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Truck, Volkswagen, MTU and MAN. We support our customers’ projects from the first steps through to complete implementation. We don’t just develop innovative solutions, but also support holistic implementation within the company – with professionalism, passion and many years of project experience.
Our technical and business expertise is just as important a pillar of our success as networking within the company. Passing on our experience and knowledge accumulated over the years is of key importance to us, to ensure the best possible working conditions, complete projects successfully and to be as well-prepared as we can be for new challenges.

Recognized as a Sustainable Company
To minimize our impact on the environment and preserve it for future generations, we have introduced an environmental management system that has been certified to ISO standard 14001 since 2021. This standard specifies globally recognized requirements for environmental management systems.
With this certification, we are pursuing the goal of strictly aligning PEC with the goals of its environmental policy. In addition, our task force in charge of this operation is developing its own PEC advisory services for our customers to guide them through the certification process.
